Le processus de traitement repose sur la combinaison de chaleur et de vide : l\u2019huile est chauff\u00e9e et introduite dans une chambre \u00e0 vide, o\u00f9 la basse pression fait bouillir l\u2019eau pr\u00e9sente dans l\u2019huile et la fait s\u2019\u00e9vaporer \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus basses. La vapeur d\u2019eau est \u00e9vacu\u00e9e par une pompe \u00e0 vide. L\u2019unit\u00e9 est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d\u2019une pompe centrifuge en sortie pour r\u00e9duire le bruit et d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de chauffage intelligent qui r\u00e9gule automatiquement le courant et \u00e9vite les surtensions. Il n\u2019y a pas de pompe d\u2019entr\u00e9e, l\u2019huile est donc aliment\u00e9e directement, r\u00e9duisant le risque de fuites. La capacit\u00e9 de la CMM-1H en mode s\u00e9chage de l\u2019huile est de jusqu\u2019\u00e0 1 m\u00b3\/h.
