Al\u00e9m de purificar o \u00f3leo, a CMM-4,0LT pode ser utilizada para aquecer e secar dispositivos el\u00e9tricos preenchidos com \u00f3leo. A unidade tem uma capacidade de pelo menos 4,0 m\u00b3\/h (17,6 gpm) em modo de secagem e filtra\u00e7\u00e3o termov\u00e1cuo. O \u00f3leo \u00e9 aspirado a v\u00e1cuo atrav\u00e9s de um filtro grosso com finura de 200 microns para um tanque a v\u00e1cuo contendo um aquecedor. Subindo de baixo para cima, o \u00f3leo aquece e passa atrav\u00e9s de uma tampa canalizada especialmente para preenchimentos especiais. \u00c0 medida que o \u00f3leo flui para baixo pelos preenchimentos, a umidade e os gases s\u00e3o removidos sob v\u00e1cuo.
