Vacuum drying removes moisture by lowering the pressure in the drying chamber so that water evaporates more intensively at lower temperatures. This process avoids overheating of insulating materials while extracting moisture deep inside paper, pressboard, and transformer board. Vacuum drying also significantly reduces processing time versus warm-air or natural drying.
