Mustard seed oil is rich in erucic acid and other long-chain fatty acids, which can affect cold flow and oxidative stability of the biodiesel. Despite this, the fuel produced has a high cetane number, good lubricity, and burns cleanly. The GlobeCore USB plant ensures full transesterification and purification, removing impurities and stabilizing the fuel. Additives or blending may be used to improve cold performance or shelf life, depending on application.
