Transformer bushings are monitored through regular testing and continuous condition monitoring systems. Insulation resistance, capacitance, and power factor tests are performed periodically. Some bushings are equipped with sensors to detect partial discharges or temperature anomalies. Oil samples are analyzed for dissolved gases, and visual inspections check for physical damage, oil leaks, or cracks in the insulation.
