Chicken fat is a low-cost byproduct of poultry processing and is generally cheaper than vegetable oils like soybean or rapeseed. Availability is strong in regions with large poultry industries. However, it requires more pretreatment and has handling challenges (e.g., solidifies at lower temperatures). Despite this, the overall cost-per-liter of biodiesel remains competitive. The GlobeCore USB system’s efficiency and low energy use help further reduce production costs, making chicken fat a viable option, especially for localized or integrated production models.
