Beef tallow is high in saturated fatty acids like palmitic and stearic acid, resulting in biodiesel with a high cetane number, low volatility, and excellent oxidative stability. However, this also causes poor cold flow properties, with higher cloud and pour points than plant-based biodiesels. This can be improved by blending with low-saturation feedstocks or additives. Transesterification is efficient due to its triglyceride-rich composition, and the GlobeCore USB system ensures complete conversion into clean-burning, engine-safe biodiesel.
