Chicken fat is rendered by low-heat wet or dry rendering, separating fat from bones, skin, and tissues. The resulting tallow is then filtered and dried to reduce moisture content. Further pretreatment may include deacidification if free fatty acid (FFA) levels are high. For biodiesel production, this refined fat is heated and mixed with methanol and a catalyst. The GlobeCore USB biodiesel plant integrates heating, chemical dosing, and separation, making it efficient for converting chicken fat—even with moderate FFAs—into high-quality biodiesel.
