The TOR-7 mineral transformer oil universal tester made by GlobeCore is designed to check the quality of dielectric fluids used in transformers, reactors, circuit breakers and other electrical equipment. The quality of the oil has a direct impact on how well and how long the equipment will last, so it’s important to keep an eye on its properties as part of regular maintenance. TOR-7 lets you figure out key indicators like electrical strength, dielectric loss tangent, moisture content, density, and relative permittivity. The device is compatible with lots of different types of oils, like mineral, synthetic, silicone and bio-oils, including Midel 7131 or FR3. The device is automated. The touch control panel makes it easy to set the mode, and you can see the measurement results on the screen. You can store or transfer the data for further processing. The TOR-7’s compact design makes it perfect for use in the lab or out on site. It doesn’t need any fancy maintenance and you can easily carry it around. Thanks to its accurate analysis of the oil condition, TOR-7 helps you spot problems quickly, prevent breakdowns and extend the life of your equipment.
