GC Vane Vacuum Pumps (Support Pumps)
GC vane vacuum pumps are designed to create a preliminary vacuum. These backing pumps are typically used in high-vacuum systems as a first stage, operating in conjunction with high-vacuum pumps.
The vane vacuum pump consists of a cylindrical chamber and rotating vanes. The rotating vanes are off-center relative to the center of the chamber. This displacement creates two zones within the chamber: one zone creates a vacuum that draws in air, while the other zone compresses and expels the air.
Some potential application areas for vane vacuum pumps include:
• Plastic Manufacturing (vacuum forming, filling, coating)
• Food Production (sterilization, packaging)
• Medical Sector (sterilization)
• Chemical Industry (paint production)
• Pharmaceutical Industry (ampoule production)
And more.
