The vacuum oil unit CMM-8LT is designed for purification from mechanical impurities and water of electrical insulation oils, the kinematic viscosity of which does not exceed 70 cSt at a temperature of 50°C.

The unit can be used for heating oil-filled electrical apparatuses with hot transformer oil and for their vacuuming.

The station ensures oil purification up to class -/12/9 with an initial purity class of -/16/13 (mass fraction of contaminants not exceeding 0.004%) with multiple passes of the purified product through the filter block.

The station is used in the assembly, repair, and operation of oil-filled high-voltage equipment (power transformers, high-voltage switches, etc.).

The 10 ppm mode is the standard operating mode of the equipment, which involves drying oil using thermal vacuum technology.

The 5 ppm mode ensures a very low level of residual moisture in the oil by reducing machine productivity. This means that the equipment effectively removes even the smallest traces of water, which significantly extends the service life of the equipment.

The 5 ppm+ mode is an improved version that ensures even lower residual oil moisture levels by using sorbent cartridges and reducing machine productivity. This is ideal for critical applications especially for heavily loaded transformers with high demands.
