CMM-6LT Industrial Oil Purification Unit

Cap: 6000 LPH | Degassing | Vacuum drying | 5 µm filtration

The mobile oil station CMM-6LT is designed for thermovacuum drying, filtration, and purification of oils from mechanical impurities and water. It is suitable for oils used in lubrication systems, sealing systems, hydraulic control systems of gas turbine and gas compressor units, gas engine compressors, and transformers during operation and maintenance. The unit has a productivity of at least 6.0 m³/h in filtration mode and 4.0–6.0 m³/h in thermal vacuum drying mode. The CMM-6LT can clean contaminated oils from water, free and dissolved gases, and heat and dry oil-filled electrical apparatuses using the thermovacuum drying method. It also removes mechanical impurities through high-efficiency filter elements. The unit is intended for use in assembly, repair, and operational organizations engaged in oil processing and purification.

The mobile oil station CMM-6LT is designed for thermovacuum drying, filtration, and purification from mechanical impurities and water of oils used in lubrication systems, sealing systems, hydraulic control systems of gas turbine and gas compressor units, gas-motor-compressors, as well as transformers, during operation and maintenance.

The unit can be used for cleaning contaminated oils from water, free and dissolved gases, heating and drying oil-filled electrical apparatuses with hot transformer oil, using the thermovacuum drying method. Additionally, it can remove mechanical impurities through high-efficiency filter elements. The unit is applied in assembly, repair, and operational organizations engaged in oil processing and purification.

The unit can process mineral transformer oils with the following properties:

  • kinematic viscosity at 50 °C – 2…12 mm2/s;
  • oil mass moisture content – not more than 100 ppm;
  • density at 20°C – 800…950 kg/m3;
  • industrial cleanliness class according to ISO 4406 – not worse -/19/16.

No.

The 10 ppm mode is the standard operating mode of the equipment, which involves drying oil using thermal vacuum technology.

The 5 ppm mode ensures a very low level of residual moisture in the oil by reducing machine productivity. This means that the equipment effectively removes even the smallest traces of water, which significantly extends the service life of the equipment.

The 5 ppm+ mode is an improved version that ensures even lower residual oil moisture levels by using sorbent cartridges and reducing machine productivity. This is ideal for critical applications especially for heavily loaded transformers with high demands.
