    El probador de tangente delta de aceite aislante se utiliza para medir las pérdidas dieléctricas del aceite de transformador y detectar su degradación. El procedimiento de uso es el siguiente:

    Preparación de la muestra: Se toma una muestra representativa de aceite del transformador, asegurando que esté limpia y libre de burbujas o partículas.

    Colocación en la célula de prueba: La muestra de aceite se coloca en la célula de prueba del probador, donde dos electrodos están sumergidos en el aceite.

    Configuración del probador: Se configuran los parámetros de prueba en el dispositivo, como el voltaje de prueba y la frecuencia. Algunos dispositivos permiten seleccionar los valores adecuados según las normas de la industria.

    Aplicación de voltaje: El probador aplica un voltaje alterno a través de los electrodos sumergidos en el aceite. A medida que el voltaje se aplica, el dispositivo mide la corriente que pasa a través del aceite.

    Cálculo del tangente delta: El dispositivo calcula el tangente delta (tan δ) comparando la corriente resistiva (pérdida) y la corriente capacitiva. Este valor indica el nivel de pérdidas dieléctricas en el aceite.

    Interpretación de resultados: Un valor bajo de tangente delta indica que el aceite está en buen estado, mientras que un valor alto sugiere contaminación, humedad o envejecimiento del aceite, lo que requiere acción correctiva como filtración o reemplazo del aceite.

    Esta prueba es esencial para garantizar la calidad del aceite y prevenir fallas en el transformador.
