If a vacuum system is added to the TOR-5 online transformer monitoring system, is it possible to perform degassing?

Yes, adding a vacuum module makes real degassing technically possible, but with important limitations. In that configuration, TOR-5 no longer works only as a conditioner, but as a low-capacity online degasser: oil is circulated through a small vacuum chamber where dissolved gases are released. This is effective for gradual hydrogen and air removal during long-term operation. However, it cannot replace a full-scale vacuum oil processing unit for fast deep degassing after major faults or oil filling. It is a stabilization tool, not an emergency treatment system.
