GlobeCore in the Press: Cement Improvement with Vortex Layer Devices (Global Cement Magazine)

The October issue of Global Cement published an article by GlobeCore’s service engineer, Frank May, under the title The Promising Application of Vortex Layer Devices with Ferromagnetic Elements for Cement Improvement.

The article looks into the reasons of cement binding quality deterioration and the ways to address this problem. Using electromagnetic field energy, specifically, the vortex layer devices with ferromagnetic elements is a promising approach.

The article describes how such devices operate and includes the results of testing concrete samples for flex and compression strength. Part of the samples were made from old cement, while another part was made using cement processed in the vortex layer device. The results of the tests confirmed increased material strength. The device can also be effectively used in the production of microcement and floor mix.
