The AVS-150 Mox-fuel production machine made by Globecore is designed to mix uranium and plutonium oxides together to make the main raw material for the production of mixed oxide fuel (MOX). This fuel is used in nuclear power engineering as an alternative to conventional uranium fuel. The way the plant works is based on electromagnetic treatment, which mixes and activates the components really well. This makes a really fine, stable and even mixture, which is really important for nuclear fuel because you need to be really precise and consistent there. The AVS-150 is small, reliable and you can adjust the settings to suit whatever you’re doing. It’s a breeze to set up in any production line and makes sure the quality is always top-notch, all while using up way less energy. Using the unit means you can increase safety, efficiency and reproducibility of the MOX-fuel production process.
