Improving the efficiency of fluorine-containing wastewater treatment (Water Today - Mar-Apr. 2024)

In March-April 2024, an article titled “Improving the efficiency of fluorine-containing wastewater treatment” was published in magazine Water Today, authored by the founders of GlobeCore, Stanislav Mykytenko and Oleg Kryvokhyzha.

The article explores the process of wastewater defluorination using the AVS system. It examines the effects of processing duration in a vortex layer and pH levels on the defluorination rate. Additionally, the study identifies the optimal reactant ratios, device capacities, influencing factors, and ideal conditions for industrial implementation. Utilizing vortex layer devices in wastewater defluorination can reduce chemical agent and electricity consumption, minimize production floor space, and enhance wastewater treatment quality.
