GlobeCore in the press: Phenol removal from wastewater (Water & Wastewater Asia magazine)

Progress in improving the efficiency of treatment of wastewater containing phenol and other organic contaminants is covered in the latest issue of Water & Wastewater Asia magazine, March/April 2024. The article has been prepared by Stanislav Mykytenko and Oleh Kryvokhyzha, the founders and directors of GlobeCore.

One of the key elements in improving the treatment process is the use of a vortex layer device (AVS) that ensures high-quality treatment of phenol-containing wastewater with the costs lower than those when using known methods. The use of AVS in this process makes it possible to reduce the power consumption 10–15 times and the consumption of chemical agents for oxidation — 1.5–2 times, as well as to narrow down the production floor area required for wastewater treatment facilities 1.5–2 times.
