October 5, 2016: GlobeCore technical support engineers launch yet another unit for transformer oil purification.
This time, the launch took place in Carpenedolo (province of Brescia, Italy) with the commissioning of a CMM-0.6 mobile unit. Its purpose is to remove mechanical impurities from transformer oil and to dry the oil under vacuum. Transformer oil must have a viscosity below 70 cSt at 50°C. Quality purification of transformer oil is achieved by multiple passes of the oil through the filters, and drying of oil is achieved by vacuum, removing water vapor from the surface of the oil.
In addition to the standard CMM-0.6 model, GlobeCore offers an automated version, the CMM-0.6a. A distinctive feature of this plant is full automation. The CMM-0.6a is equipped with a GSM-module, which allows remote control of the plant and process parameters using a mobile phone, information transmitted to the operator in text messages.
The automated process saves down time and labor costs.
These mobile oil stations can be used by facilities involved in installation, repair and operation of oil-filled high-voltage equipment.
