The CMM-260C is a step-up transformers online drying machne in wind power plants system developed by GlobeCore for wind power plants. It’s been designed to safely maintain equipment without interrupting its operation. It effectively removes moisture from transformer oil and insulation while the transformer is still running. Step-up transformers at wind farms operate in harsh climates – outdoors, with sudden changes in temperature and high humidity. Over time, moisture penetrates the oil, which reduces its insulating properties and creates the risk of overheating and accidents. Online drying with the CMM-260C avoids downtime. The unit is connected to the transformer, takes the oil, cleans it of moisture and returns it back. The entire process is fully automated – the system independently monitors humidity, temperature and pressure in real time. Thanks to its mobility, the CMM-260C can be easily adapted to remote wind farm sites.
