The first issue of magazine Transformer Technology was published in 2020. It is dedicated to the topic “Transformer Oils & Fluids: Development of Transformer Fluids Over the Last Century”.
The issue contains an article by GlobeCore manager Frank May entitled “Transformer Oil Corrosive Sulfur Problem and Solutions”.
In his article, Frank May provides a historical review of the corrosive compounds presence problem in transformer oils and analyzes the existing methods for their removal. There are presented the experimental results that confirm the effectiveness of the GlobeCore technology in these compounds removal .
