Transformer oils are used to cool and insulate a transformer’s internal components. However, over time, oxidation can degrade the oil’s quality and efficiency. To slow this process down and extend the oil’s lifespan, inhibitors (antioxidant additives) are added.

The Inhibitor Injection Unit is a mobile unit specially designed for the preparation and injection of inhibitor into transformer oils. The operating principle of the unit is that the operations of pumping out the oil, mixing it with the inhibitor and pumping it back in are carried out sequentially in automatic mode. This automation ensures fast and efficient mixing of the components, which contributes to uniform distribution of the inhibitor in the oil. The unit can also be operated in manual mode to check the functionality of individual components.

Special attention is paid to safety. If a dangerous situation is detected, the operation of the Unit is immediately suspended. The reason for the stop is displayed on the controller screen, allowing the operator to quickly identify and eliminate the cause of the problem.
