February 2 guests from Switzerland visited German office of GlobeCore in Oldenburg.
Representatives of a Swiss company: director and a chief engineer expressed a wish to get acquainted with GlobeCore’s equipment and to assess its possible application in their manufacturing – the production of lubricants and other petroleum products. The guests were shown recycling capabilities of mineral oils on laboratory equipment UVR. In addition, Swiss representatives also got acquainted with CMM-R units. They paid particular attention to GlobeCore’s sorbent reactivation technology.
The sorbent in CMM-R unit is fuller’s earth that extracts contaminants and decomposition products from the processed oil. And, unlike other sorbents it is possible to recover its properties after saturation, and continue to use for oil reclamation. Generally, the life of fuller’s earth is about 300 regenerations (restoring processes).
On the whole, the visitors from Switzerland were pleased with their trip, and expressed a desire to visit the GlobeCore office and production facilities again to discuss the future cooperation.
