Technical Meeting in Guatemala

In the end of October 2020 the service engineer of GlobeCore company Jose Mora visited the city of Guatemala at the invitation of one of the transmission energy companies.

The purpose of the trip was  holding a technical meeting to exchange experiences and discuss important issues on the topic of transformer maintenance. In particular, there were raised issues of drying insulating oil and transformer windings, the effect of corrosive sulfur on the transformer, as well as stabilizing insulating oils with antioxidant additives. The meeting was held in compliance with all quarantine norms and restrictions.

The technical meetings like this help energy companies extend the life of transformers by introducing modern technologies and maintenance methods. GlobeCore company, in turn, gets information about current problems of energy industry and uses it in development of new equipment.
