GlobeCore in the press: Regeneration of Fire-Resistant Turbine Oils Using Fuller’s Earth Sorbent (Lubes’n’Greases Magazine – Vol 30, Issue 9.2024)

The September issue of Lubes’n’Greases Magazine features an article on the regeneration of fire-resistant turbine oils using Fuller’s earth sorbent. The article is authored by GlobeCore founders Stanislav Mykytenko and Oleh Kryvokhyzha.

The article explores the possibilities of regenerating fire-resistant turbine oils, with a focus on Fyrquel turbine oil, using Fuller’s earth sorbent. The research demonstrates that the use of Fuller’s earth significantly reduces the acid number (from 0.54 mg KOH/g to 0.01 mg KOH/g in a single pass) and the moisture content in the oil (from 1622 ppm to 295 ppm).
