The IV OMICRON User Meeting, an event for professionals in the Latin American power industry, will take place on August 4–7, 2026, in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil. Our Technical Support Engineer, José Mora, will be one of the speakers.
His presentation will focus on vacuuming during transformer commissioning and ways to reduce the time required for this process.
Other topics to be discussed at the event include:
- testing and diagnostics of transformers, circuit breakers, cables, and other equipment;
- protection, automation, and digital substations (IEC 61850, cybersecurity);
- practical cases and trends in improving power system reliability.
