    La regeneración de aceite de transformador es un proceso mediante el cual el aceite usado se purifica y restaura para reutilizarlo, prolongando su vida útil y reduciendo costos y residuos ambientales. Este proceso incluye varias etapas:

    Filtración: Se eliminan partículas sólidas, sedimentos y lodos mediante filtros mecánicos. Esto limpia el aceite de contaminantes visibles que pueden obstruir los conductos de enfriamiento o deteriorar los componentes internos.

    Deshidratación: Mediante técnicas como la deshumidificación al vacío o el uso de desecantes, se elimina la humedad disuelta en el aceite. La presencia de agua reduce la rigidez dieléctrica del aceite, aumentando el riesgo de fallas eléctricas.

    Desgasificación: Se eliminan los gases disueltos en el aceite mediante métodos como la desgasificación al vacío. La presencia de ciertos gases puede indicar procesos de degradación del aceite o fallas internas en el transformador.

    Adsorción Química: Se utilizan materiales adsorbentes, como arcillas activadas o zeolitas, para eliminar ácidos, productos de oxidación y otros compuestos químicos que han degradado el aceite.

    Tratamiento Térmico: En algunos casos, el aceite se somete a calentamiento controlado para eliminar gases residuales y mejorar sus propiedades físicas.
