At the end of April – beginning of May, representatives of the GlobeCore company were fulfilling an order from one of the power distribution companies in Ukraine: regenerating 9000 liters of used insulating oil for its further use in power transformers.
Two CMM-6RL units, CMM-1CF and CMM-1LT units, as well as the TOR-3 device, were involved in the recovery process.
Regeneration was carried out using CMM-6RL units with the use of an adsorbent — fuller’s earth. All harmful impurities and aging products are retained in the adsorbent granules. Water removal was carried out by coagulation in the CMM-1CF unit, designed for particularly water-saturated transformer and other types of oils. The CMM-1LT unit was used for thermal vacuum drying and additional filtration of oil drained from transformers.
The analysis of the indicators of the oil being restored was controlled by the TOR-3 device designed to measure the tangent of the angle of dielectric losses and the dielectric permeability of transformer oil and other liquid dielectrics.
9000 liters of drained transformer oil were regenerated by GlobeCore equipment and now the power distribution company can reuse it.
The customers were satisfied with the work done to restore the insulating oil and noted that they are open to further cooperation and use of the GlobeCore company’s equipment.
