Launch of the CMM-260C Unit in Costa Rica

In June 2024, the CMM-260C unit was commissioned in Costa Rica by GlobeCore specialists.

This unit is constantly located near the transformer and performs continuous drying by pumping oil through sorbent cartridges at a rate of 30 liters per hour. The oil passes through three cartridges, each containing 20 kilograms of sorbent. The sorbent absorbs moisture and securely holds it within its granules.

Simultaneously with oil drying, the CMM-260C also dries the winding insulation because, in a loaded transformer, water constantly migrates between the oil and the winding insulation. This allows maintaining the moisture level of the transformer insulation at safe values, ensuring its reliable operation.

The CMM-260C unit is offered in two versions – with and without a protective casing. It operates without the need for oil heating and does not require constant operator control, making it an ideal solution for use even for transformers located in the most remote areas.
