At the end of June, GlobeCore representatives visited Luanda (Angola) to hold several seminars.
The events were based at the largest Angolan electric power companies and were dedicated to transformer reliability improvement and lifetime extension. GlobeCore’s concept is to protect the insulation of transformer from moisture during repairs and servicing, as well as purification and regeneration of electrical insulation oils. Modern GlobeCore oil regeneration technology involves several processes simultaneously (heating, vacuum, filtration and absorption), which makes for excellent results. The CMM-R regeneration machines can restore oil without the need to drain it from a transformer. In fact, the process can be run with the transformer under load, saving time (more transformers can be serviced in a given time) and money (oil lifetime is extended, the need to buy new oil is significantly diminished if not eliminated), as well as improving power supply reliability (a transformer with clean oil and dry solid insulation does not fail and works 15-20 years longer).
As is common in such seminars, the benefits of the regeneration process were demonstrated with the help of a laboratory scale UVR regeneration unit. All participants could see how the appearance of used oil changes and how the treatment makes it usable again.
Considering the interest and demand on transformer servicing and oil regeneration equipment, GlobeCore plans to continue to hold seminars in various parts of the world. Follow announcements on our website to find out when a seminar is held in your country.
