The BV-5000 is a vacuum system designed for transformer evacuation and drying. For smaller transformers, GlobeCore offers BV-2500 and BV-3000 models. We will prepare a quotation for multiple units including technical details and options.

In addition to the BV-series configuration options, smaller-capacity vacuum systems are often selected for 69 kV class transformers due to their optimal balance between evacuation rate, footprint, and power consumption. Depending on site conditions, these units can be supplied in different layouts (skid-mounted, or trailer-mounted), with optional integrated control systems for automated vacuum control and monitoring of drying cycles.
For multiple-unit procurement, it is also common to standardize auxiliary components such as vacuum pumps, control interfaces, and connection manifolds to simplify maintenance and reduce spare parts inventory across several installations.

The BV-5000 is a high-capacity transformer evacuation unit with a geometric pumping speed of 5000 m³/h and an operating vacuum below 1 mbar, air-cooled drive, maximum power consumption around 32 kW, inlet DN200 and outlet DN65, and a compact footprint (approx. 2350 mm long × 1440 mm wide × 1520–1650 mm high) with a maximum weight near 2200 kg. It is designed for transformer evacuation and dry-out up to the highest voltage classes (including 69 kV), and uses a booster stage to remove air, vapor and non-aggressive gases rapidly. For indoor use you will need an exhaust/gas vent line; the unit is not suited for explosive or toxic atmospheres or environments reactive with lubrication materials. Smaller-capacity options (commonly used on 69 kV class transformers for a better balance of evacuation rate, footprint and power consumption) are available in the BV family, and units can be supplied skid-mounted or trailer-mounted with optional integrated PLC control for automated vacuum control and drying-cycle monitoring.
