For large power transformers you need a purpose-built transformer oil regeneration plant from the CMM‑R family (examples: CMM‑6RL, CMM‑10RL, CMM‑12R) that combines adsorption, sorbent reactivation and degassing so regenerated oil can be returned to the transformer (even while energized). The CMM‑10RL uses ten adsorption columns packed with Fuller’s earth to remove aging products and impurities, includes in‑place sorbent reactivation and integrates with a degassing/dehydration stage; throughput varies with oil condition (the 10RL is rated up to ~75 m3/h under favorable conditions, while smaller units such as the CMM‑6RL offer lower throughput).
In addition to the regeneration module itself you’ll need the usual auxiliaries and supports for onsite transformer oil reclamation: vacuum dehydration/degassing and heating systems (or integrated degasser), oil transfer pumps, process filtration and valves, vacuum pumps and condensers, tanks and hoses for treated/untreated oil, instrumentation and control panel, and the appropriate three‑phase power supply and connections. Match the unit capacity to transformer size and oil condition, and plan for sorbent reactivation cycles and degassing capacity when sizing equipment for large high‑voltage transformers.
