August 25, Ecuador (in Quito) GlobeCore engineers started up a CMM-12R plant.
The test run of the unit showed great results – dielectric loss tangent measurements of 0,7% at 90°C were achieved (initial value 11%); also, breakdown voltage was increased to 80 kV.
Note that the CMM-12R plant has the following advantages:
- twenty-four-hour regeneration of transformer oil without interruption for sorbent reactivation;
- condition monitoring of all components;
- advanced software;
- control of the oil regeneration process through a GSM-module;
- zero loss of oil during regeneration.
There is a specially equipped operator’s room with an air conditioner and a PC for easier operation. The equipment capacity in regeneration mode is 4 m3 / h.
Our specialists provided staff training in Ambato, Ecuador. The electrical insulation oil was processed with CMM-12R unit in an on-line transformer without taking it offline. In this case, the GlobeCore equipment had to operate in a mountainous area, however, this did not affect the quality of oil regeneration, which showed consistently high results.
