How are high voltage transformer bushing diagnostics performed?

Diagnostics are performed through insulation resistance testing, capacitance measurement, and partial discharge testing. Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) of the bushing oil can detect faults early. Infrared thermography is used to detect hot spots, while acoustic sensors help identify abnormal vibrations. Regular visual inspections and oil level checks are also part of bushing diagnostics.
